SMPK Maria Fatimah is the champion (Dempo Cup 2011)

SMPK Maria Fatimah Jember berhasil menyabet juara 1 dalam kejuaraan Dempo Cup tahun ini. Sabtu (22/10) mungkin adalah hari terindah untuk Tim Basket Maria Fatimah di mana pulang tanpa tangan kosong. Pertandingan final yang diadakan malam hari sekitar pukul 19.00 itu berlangsung sangat seru dan menegangkan. SMPN 1 Malang sebagai lawan SMPK Maria Fatimah di final juga tak kalah hebat. SMPN 1  Malang yang berhasil menumbangkan Panderman itu memberikan permainan terbaik mereka. Skor yang diperoleh Marfat sebutan dari SMPK Maria Fatimah dengan SMPN 1 Malang ini saling kejar-kejaran.

Semua orang yang menonton pertandingan final kali itu tidak rugi, begitu ramai dan serunya pertandingan itu. Banyak sekali time out yang diminta oleh para pelatih, mungkin untuk mencegah terjadinya suatu kesalahan. Para pendukung dari Marfat ataupun SMPN 1 saling berlomba untuk memberi semangat kepada mereka.

Bahkan MC nya saja ikut memberikan apresiasi kepada Marfat dan SMPN 1 Malang. Skor yang kejar-kejaran dan terkadang seri ini ternyata bertahan sampai dengan waktu akhir pertandingan yakni 51-51. Maka dengan terpaksa harus dilakukan perpanjangan waktu agar dapat diketahui siapa pemenangnya. Ini bukan hal yang biasa, jarang sekali terjadi seperti ini. Terbukti bahwa keduanya memang layak untuk bertanding di final. Tak lama setelah istirahhat, perpanjangan waktu  dimulai. Keduanya tetap saja memberikan permainan yang terbaik, semuanya orang hanya dapat menggeleng-gelengkan kepala. Betapa hebatnya.

Sangat seru pertandingan kali ini, pertandingan pertama selama 5 menit masih tak dapat mengetahui siapa yang bakal jadi pemenang, skor yang ada seri lagi 56 - 56. Sampai-sampai ada beberapa pemain yang membaringkan tubuhnya di lapangan karena kelelahan.

Wasit memberikan waktu lagi untuk beristirahat sebelum perpanjangan waktu yang ke dua kalinya dimulai. Perpanjangan waktu ke dua dimulai, pertandingan ini memakan waktu yang lama. Bahkan ini harus bertanding lagi selama 5 menit, bagi para pemain ini merupakan hal yang sangat melelahkan.

Pada perpanjangan waktu yang kedua kali ini, SMPN 1 Malang mulai menurun permainannya, sedangkan Marfat dapat menambah 4 poin lagi pada awal pertandingan. Pemain dari SMPN 1 beberapa ada yang foul out kali ini, bahkan juga ada yang cidera atau kelelahan. Maka dari itu SMPN 1 tidak dapat bermain dengan baik. Berbeda dengan Marfat yang bermain stabil dan luar biasa. Detik-detik terakhir sebelum pertandingan berakhir, pemain Marfat telah optimis bahwa akan menang. Dan ternyata benar, Marfat berhasil mengibaskan sayapnya pada Dempo Cup kali ini dengan skor 62-64.

Pemain basket, kepala sekolah, pelatih basket, dan semua pendukung Marfat langsung bersorak-sorai melihat tim kesayangan mereka berhasil menyudahi pertandingan. Berbeda dengan SMPN 1 Malang yang harus menerima kekalahan yang hanya selisih 1 bola saja, wajah-wajah kecewa memenuhi mereka. Namun apa boleh buat setiap pertandingan pasti ada kalah dan menang. :)

Panderman is in the third place !

Dempo Cup kali ini, Panderman iku berpartisipasi dengan baik. Rabu (19/10) adalah langkah awal Panderman untuk mengikuti kejuaraan basket, yakni dengan bertanding melawan SMP Yos Sudarso Blitar. Awal yang baik bagi Panderman, kemenangan pertama telah diraih dengan baik. 

Kamis (20/10) adalah langkah kedua bagi Panderman untuk melaju ke babak selanjutnya dengan melawan SMPN 1 Jember, kemenangan diraih kembali. Perjalanan Panderman sangat mulus sampai saat ini. Dengan hasil itu, Panderman harus siap bertarung dengan SMPN 1 Malang, yang telah ditakhlukan saat sparing pekan lalu. Jumat (21/10) adalah waktu di mana pandermania mengharapkan Panderman dapat mengulang lagi kemenangan pekan lalu. Alhasil, gagal, Panderman harus bertekuk lutut. Harapan untuk melaju ke babak final pun telah habis. 

Namun masih ada harapan, juara 3 masih bisa diraih oleh Panderman yakni dengan bertanding melawan SMP Kosayu 1 Malang pada Sabtu (22/10). Panderman berhasil membuat pandermania menutupi rasa kecewanya. Juara 3 telah diraih oleh Panderman !

WAKTU (TIME)

Waktu jauh lebih berharga daripada uang :

• karena waktu adalah anugrah dan berkat Tuhan
• karena waktu adalah sebuah kesempatan yang berharga

Orang bijak dapat menginvestasikan waktunya dengan baik. Cara menginvestasi waktu dengan benar:

• Investasikan waktu untuk Tuhan
• Investasikan waktu untuk keluarga
• Investasikan waktu untuk mencari uang

Enam (6) pelajaran hidup :

1. Melihat ke atas sebagai motivasi, memandang Tuhan.
2. Melihat ke bawah, bersyukur atas apa yang diperoleh.
3. Melihat ke samping, sadari adanya partner hidup.
4. Melihat ke belakang, pengalaman hidup.
5. Melihat ke dalam, sadari untuk instropeksi.
6. Melihat ke depan, untuk menjadi yang lebih baik. :)

SHORT STORY

All Things Are Possible

            There is a toddler named Sirvy aged 4 years old. She was born in Perth, November, 14th 2003. She comes from a regular family that is wealthy enough and harmonious. Her family believes in God, only his father does not go to church. She has an older sister named Clauvie Natia. His father and his mother worked as a shop owner in the Perth area. Every morning she was invited by his father to exercise by jogging 2 blocks near their house. She was a cheerful, smart, good, nosy, and funny girl.

            Sirvy has brown, long and straight hair. She likes her hair very much and refuses to have it cut. She also has a birthmark on the right palm. It looks like a mole. She loves cheese very much and the great thing is she is able to eat 12 pieces of cheese in a day. She really does not like to eat, but drinking milk is her favorite. In her family, she is very famous for her innocence. Although still small, she can  memorized the Lord's Prayer.

            One day her sister goes to Sydney and Sirvy is joking with her parents in the living room. But, then she goes to the garden behind her house. She said to her mother that she wants to see Mr. Stam pet’s bird, her uncle from her mother family. Her parents allow her to do it. She runs to the rear garden. There, she plays with water; holds green leaves and flowers as well. Then she sees Mr. Stam is feeding his birds. Sirvy shouts a loud. She is very happy seeing and hearing the bird twitters. But, when Mr. Stam feeds the birds, something strange happens

            Suddenly, Sirvy jumps over the fiber. It is located just above the kitchen, because the house consists of 2 levels. At the first jump she is very glad being reflected. She keeps doing that for the 3^rd times. At the 4^th jumps the fiber is broken and she falls into the hole. From this hole she directly goes to the kitchen underneath. Mr. Stam directly runs down through the stairs to the kitchen and helps her. He sees Sirvy lies on a mat. Then he picks Sirvy and calls Sirvy’s parents. They are very shocked knowing her condition. His father immediately takes and carries her into his arm and takes her to the bedroom. Everyone is in panic and confusion.

            Sirvy is crying sobbing, she is very surprised, and feels hurt. Her father is looking for some blood in her head, but there is not. Her head is just full of sweat. Her mother directly calls their family’s doctor.  The doctor comes in a hurry and examines her condition carefully. The doctor said to her mother that Sirvy is ok. There is nothing wrong with her condition. But, before he leave he told to them to wait for the next 24 hours. If she doesn’t vomit it means that she is fine.

            After Sirvy falls to sleep, her mother begins to calm down. She goes to the Sirvy sister’s room. She keeps silent and starts to pray. She cries a lot and has no idea why it happens to her beloved daughter. She keeps calling the name of Jesus continuously. At that time Sirvy’s father is staring Sirvy’s face. She sleeps so peacefully.  But Mr. Stam behavior makes them upset. He goes back to feed his bird. Deeply in his heart, Silvy’s father hopes that Mr. Stam will accompany him watching Sirvy. 

            Around 05.00 p.m  Sirvy awakes from her sleep. She called "Daddy ….”  Her daughter calls make her father awakes too. “I want to go to Time Zone, Pa”, said Sirvy. Her father still thinks about Sirvy request.

“You must stay in bed. The doctor wants you to obey his command”, answer her father.

            Her father does not want Silvy to go out side. He tries to divert Silvy’s mind. At the kitchen, SIlvy’s mother is preparing some foods for dinner. But suddenly she cries because she just remembers the accident. A few moments later the food is ready to serve. She goes to the up stair bedroom and asks them to have dinner.  They want Mr. Stam to have dinner with them but he is sleeping when Sirvy’s father sees him in his room. Mr. Stam is having some problems in his life. His families are broken and he is excommunicated from his family’s member. But somehow he still has the relationship with Silvy’s mother. Sirvy’s family hope that they can help Mr. Stam to keep continuing the live.

            Around 09.00 pm, Sirvy and her families go to bed, include Mr Stam. The house is really quiet and silent, only the animal sounds are heard. Sirvy’s  mother awakes early in the morning. It is 01.00 am. She sits back in her bed. She prays and gives thank to God. She begins to cry. Her tears slowly flow for her eyes.

"Lord, Jesus, thank you for your help. My daughter survived from the incident this afternoon. It's impossible for her to survive. She felt from 4 meters height and she  was not dead, she also did not have fracture, just a small bruise on her back, although in the kitchen there are many cupboards and hangers. Lord thank you for your miracles”, Sirvy’s mother said a little prayer.

She also wants her husband to close to God too because he never goes to church anymore since her best friend dead because of accident. He is very disappointed to God.

            Sirvy’s mother really wants God to touch her husband heart. She takes more times to pray.

"Dear Lord, You know the best for my family. Please makes my husband realizes that You are so kind to us. By our daughter accident I really believe that You are doing something good to him. I also pray that Mr. Stam will know You more. Please forgive our family mistake.” Tear still flows in her eyes. Suddenly she hears something.“My plan is not to give you accident”

“Wow… it is wonderful to hear your voice. Thank you Lord. Keep Your works into our family”

            At the morning when all of the family has breakfast she tells her experience to her husband and Mr. Stam. They are very overwhelming by her story. They promise that they will love God more. On the next Sunday all of them go the church. They start to dedicate their life to God.
